Miso Caesar Kale Chips

Yields 2-3 servings

Kale chips were super trendy a few years back, but that doesn’t mean we should stop making them! They often require a decent amount of seasoning to make sure they taste delicious and not super bitter, but we’ve discovered that you actually only need 3 ingredients - kale, our Miso Caesar Dressing, and parmesan cheese or flakey salt! They still come out super crunchy and so full of flavor that you may be shocked you weren’t doing this years ago.

Assembly

Step 1
Preheat oven to 325ºF.

Step 2
Prepare kale by separating leaves from the ribs and tearing the leaves into smaller pieces, if needed. Ideally, the leaves should be at least 1 inch x 1 inch (bite-sized).

Step 3
Wash and dry kale thoroughly, using a salad spinner then patting the leaves dry with a towel. You should have about 6 cups of torn kale leaves. If you have more or less, adjust the amount of dressing being used.

Step 4
In a large bowl, massage the Miso Caesar Dressing into the kale.

Step 5
Spray vegetable oil onto 2 rimmed baking sheets or line with parchment paper. Spread the dressed kale out evenly onto both baking sheets.

Step 6
Bake for 15-20 minutes, until crispy, stirring the kale and rotating the sheets half way through to ensure even baking.

Step 7
Once baked, toss with grated parmesan cheese or flakey salt.

Note:
You may use both parmesan cheese and flakey salt; however, the chips may turn out overly salty, which is why we suggest one or the other.

Ingredients

1 large bunch

Curly kale

2 tbsp Miso Caesar Dressing
